Assembly Instruction I-Profile

The outer profiles ASSEMBLY PROFILE shall be fixed against a material that is strong enough to hold the complete assembly and the accessories attached to the Toolbar. This can be a partition wall or similar. The centrer line of the Toolbar should be approximatelly 290-300 mm above the surface of the desk.

The ASSEMBLY PROFILE is equipped with pre-drilled and countersunk screw holes in an matrix of two rows and an ofset between the holes of 100 mm.

As rule of thumb each meter of toolbar requires 5 mounting screws witha minimum screw length of 25 mm - calculate the length of the screws as the thickness of the partition wall less 5 mm.

The dimension shall be 5 mm diameter and a countersunk head width a diameter of 10 - 10.2 mm. Recommended type is SPAX or similar.

When the Assembly profile is monted the outer profile upper side is positioned on the assembly profile upper side and thereafter the outer profile is pressed in to it clearly locks in its final position - eventually a soft rubber hammer have to be used in order to have the entire profile locked in all its length.

Example:
A Toolbar with Kondator Part Number 438-PAWX175 has a length of 1.75 meter which means that it shall be assembled with at least 9 screws.

The Toolbar shall be fixed to a partition wall with a thickness of 45 mm - this gives that a suitable length of the screws are 25 mm.
